Monday Musings - I'd rather be in Paris

Whenever the domestic drudgery becomes overwhelming, the endless laundry, grocery shopping, supervising homework, cooking spaghetti bolognaise, preparing lunchboxes and well, you get the picture...... I have a glass of wine and escape to Paris!

Sometimes George joins me!

Where do you escape to?

Till next time.

  1. Can I come with you and George? Do a little shopping, visit the Louvre, enjoy a croque monsieur, more shopping :) I can pack very fast! And I just got a new passport.

  2. Sharon, this post is perfect except for one small thing...the photo of the Hotel de Paris is the Monte Carlo hotel, not a hotel in Paris. I know, I was there many times with my precious husband, it was one of his favorite places in the world.

  3. Sharon,

Your post was just the antidote I needed today. I was having one of those dreary, mindless boring days of routine and chores and housework and laundry. Your post was a lovely mini break for me.

  5. Ah yes. Paris......from the chocolate macaroons to the colorful cityscape. I can only dream of going back there someday but right now I have 2 teenagers to get through college so maybe another time! This was such great eye candy to start off my day. Thank you.
