As we are entering summer here in South Africa (although it seems someone forgot to tell the weatherman since I am typing this in the pouring rain!) I thought it appropriate to post some pictures of summery, breezy, light and airy bedrooms. Bedrooms that open up to the elements, often with bare floorboards, decorated in whites or pastels. They speak to me of morning lie-ins, doors and windows wide open, letting in the wonderful sunshine, or lazy afternoon naps escaping the searing heat of the day.

ReplyDeletemy dream is to have french doors off the master bedroom....it's such a gorgeous look and makes for an easier way out to the pool or inside to shower...gorgeous pics!!

ReplyDeleteThese are lovely. I really like the idea of having French windows in a bedroom to let in some air during the summer. The beds are very well dressed too, I really like some of the bespoke mattress covers and throws.
