I thought I'd show you a picture of me sitting on a cafe chair in Paris. No, wait a minute, I don't recognise the handbag, so maybe it's not me after all!

Great images Sharon and what a great chair. I think everyone must have at least one or two of these I know I do.

Sharon last week I found 8 vintage cafe chairs in someone's trash! They were stenciled with the name "Bentley" on the backs... Thank you for the inspiration for my new chairs!

Sharon, Love cafe chairs...in fact we have 8 iron cafe chairs ans the table to go with them from a fair in Paris...would love to sell them. They're a little pricey so it will probably take a while. wish I could keep them. XO, Mona
ReplyDeleteI am a big fan but this post really justifies buying some - soooo versatile! What beautiful examples of all the great places they can be used. I have been trying to convince my husband to buy a set of biergarten chairs that we see at the markets here...of course since he is European(and male) he doesn't appreciate how great they are - maybe I need to show him this post! Looking forward to your post tomorrow! :) I'll drop you a note as soon as it's live - 9am my time....
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous! I love this post!
ReplyDeleteIt has that fresh breeze of Spring over it, and it makes me smile!
The chairs are wonderful. Camelions really aren't they - they manage to blend into almost any setting. Elegant or simple, they just work! And they also seem to get better the more worn and aged they are.
Lovely lovely!

{such a perfect post, sweet Sharon!}
Sharon, I had a set of cafe chairs and a table. We used them for years, but on a whim I gave them away. I am still kicking my self for that one! Love all of your beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteSuch a versatile chair. It goes to show it will never date and can be used in such a huge variety of ways. I'll be keeping my eye out for these now. Your pics are beautiful, and what that's not you at the cafe??? LOL. Leahx
