Storing wine is a lot harder than drinking it!
If you don't have a wine cellar...
....but want to ensure that you have a reasonable store of wine on hand....
....for those celebratory moments....
....or if you have had a bad day...
....or perhaps a good day....
....or just an everyday kind of day...
...you need to ensure that your wine collection is not only accessible...
....but is pleasing to the eye....
...after all, we are decorator's first, wine lovers second....
...then again...maybe not...
....either way...some ideas for you if you need them...
...because if you don't drink wine, you won't actually live longer, it will just feel like it!
Cheers, friends!
Till next time

ReplyDeleteThis post is gorgeous Sharon, I am bookmarking it! To show my husband..we eventually have plans for a wine cellar but its not super high on the list..so many other things! I love your inspiration though, next best thing is I guess to go pour myself a glass of wine, now that I can do:)
ReplyDeleteSharon, this is so wonderful. I used to have a real wine cellar, with wine frig and all. Not anymore, and I miss it! And, oh yes, it's all in the presentation, isn't it? Great images, great post !! Big hug from Texas.
ReplyDeleteSharon,
ReplyDeleteAs an occasional wine enthusiast, this is a great post. I wish we had a little wine cellar. There is something so inviting about a room lined with wine bottles, maybe a little table and chairs and a few candles.
Enjoy your week.

Love the title of your post! It's so true! The photographs are truly awesome and I have to say, they are all sensational. They each have their special ambiance, don't they?
ReplyDeleteI'm happy I found your captivating blog!

I'm a better wine drinker than I am a decorator. Love the inspiration of these photos though. Just lovely! Most of my bottles are kept in the pantry, with a few on a pretty bottle holder in a niche in the kitchen for looks. I don't drink enough to have a roomful. But I sure would like to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteI do have a cellar...just wish it were as elegant and old world as the pix you posted.
