A Basket Case

Thank-you for all your lovely comments on my previous post. For some reason, when blogger was having a hiccup on Friday, many of them were deleted. I have tried to republish them but without success. So if you commented and it has not appeared, please know that I did receive it and publish it but then lost it somewhere along the way and seem unable to retrieve it. I don't know if anyone else had the same problem?

Now onto other things....

I have a real basket fetish! I use baskets for a myriad of different purposes at home. At last count I think I had over 100 baskets of varying shapes and sizes. When I am out shopping I am drawn to them like a magnet. I buy them for no reason at all. I bring them home and then try to find a use for them! I'm sure it is supposed to be the other way around! I love wicker baskets, willow baskets, woven baskets, wire baskets. In short - I am "a basket case"!

I found some pictures of baskets used in a variety of different ways which I hope you will enjoy.

  3. Sharon, I too adore baskets. I don't know what it is, but I can see a great one from a mile away and zoom in to get it. My poor husband just sighs, but they are great for all kinds of things -- including keeping grandchildren occupied for hours, pretending! Thanks for the great inspiration pics.

  13. I'm slowly adding baskets to my home. For some reason in the past I've always avoided them thinking they were too feeble to be much use. Boy was I wrong!

I love all the inspiration photos you have gathered together. So many great idea on how to use them. Thanks
